DESTINATION 1 OF 10: Catanduanes

I've always wanted to travel and take photos, whether for work or just a personal longing. So, as my new year's resolution, I will travel ten destinations in the Philippines. It has to be somewhere I've never been to, although it can be of the same province.

So, destination uno, Catanduanes, Bicol

Marked in red are the places that me and my friends went to.
JUMP FOR JOY. Twin Rocks Beach Resort, Igang, Virac

MARIBINA FALLS. It is named after Barangays Marinawa and Binanwahan in the municipality of Bato. We swam in the cool water together with the locals.
BATO CHURCH.

SUNDAY AFFAIR. On the way to Puraran, we stopped by the river and found this happy family bonding.PURARAN BEACH. Sight in front of the Majestics Beach Resort. The whole beach was ours, as we're one of the few tourists then. when we went here, there were like only 3 rooms rented, including ours. There are I think less than ten cottages for rent here. The owner wanted it that way, pristine, calm, and uncluttered. At low tide, you can walk and hike a little on the rock formations.

LUYANG CAVE, San Andres. We weren't able to go inside, you have to be with a tour guide, and bring torches. Flashlights are of no use.

In front of the cave is a luscious forest.Mini grotto outside Luyang cave
Kids while waiting for their tatay. Virac market.

SIESTA NO MATTER WHAT. Notice the Vendors Not Allowed sign
ABACA. One of the products of Catanduanes

  1. Wow, Catanduanes looks like such a stunning destination! The photos you shared are absolutely breathtaking. If you are considering a trip to Sri Lanka, I highly recommend staying at the luxury hotel Kandy . Situated in a breathtaking location, this hotel offers stunning views and is steeped in rich history and heritage.
